Sad Dog

A few days ago, we took the dogs into town for a walk. It wasn't really different from any other day, but we did take them to an area with more English speaking people than usual. As we passed through, an older woman commented about how Lola and Sonic were so pretty, nothing too unusual. We continued on our way and went walking around for about an hour before returning. When we arrived back, that same woman was there, and she came up to pet the basset hounds. She just loved Sonic and Lola, and gave them all the attention in the world.

Then it happened.


She got up and left, and didn't even look at Molson. Can you believe that? She petted the other two right in front of him, and then completely ignored him. I can safely assure you, he was crushed. On the boat ride home, he leaned against me the whole time, like a puppy who did something bad. Well I can tell you this, he did nothing bad at all! Molson is the best behaved of all three dogs, and deserves as much love and attention as the others! Just because he isn't cute, it doesn't mean he has no feelings. That's all I've got to say about this.

Look at him. He has the dignity of a lion!
